Mercedes-Benz Vans

A rare and unique opportunity to showcase a different part of the Mercedes-Benz brand family. Mercedes-Benz Vans has always strived to rid the stigma of the brand being too expensive and not rugged, dependable and cost-efficient enough. We turned that perception around with brand-specific creative campaigns, data-driven user experiences and aesthetics that ensure familiarity but still give Vans its own space. My Role: As creative lead for the Vans account for almost five years, I worked closely in tandem with the User Experience lead to create and curate every part of the current site. Like many of the members of our lean and efficient team, I was responsible for brainstorming, concepting, client presentations, art direction, both assisting with and facilitating creative execution and production. In 2020, we transitioned the entire site onto the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform in under twelve months. Whether it was navigation, model pages, Build-Your-Own Van tools, Total Cost of Ownership or even Brand Ambassador pages, I ensured that the aesthetic and creative experience drove leads to dealers. Working alongside the Front-End/Back-End Development teams, Social Media teams and Functional Analysts each day allowed for the creation of a cumulative experience that continues to set the standard for work vans in the automotive segment.
